“Excellent! We were the only people on the trip, so it was a very personal experience. We visited Rila Monastery with Simeon. He was on time, the drive was safe and comfortable. He took us around the monastery, explaining points of interest, religious beliefs, and historical facts. He was also able to take us into areas not open to the general public and answered my thousands of questions patiently! Simoen is very knowledgeable, he is good company and his English and French are very good. Would highly recommend.”

“Lovely tour around d Plovdiv. Demetri is very knowledgeable about the history and the area. What was supposed to be a group tour turned out to be a private tour so the timing was a lot more flexible. We didn’t see the red church as we preferred spending more time at Plovdiv which is a lot more scenic that Sofia - rich history and culture. As a wine enthusiast, Villa Yustina was a good visit. We requested to top up so we can taste more wines and it was the best decision. Would have loved to visit more wineries if possible!”

“I had the pleasure of having dinner with the host Joan and his very kind mother. Joan is very knowledgeable on the history of Bulgaria and the Communist time in Sofia. He was also a very good host and fitted the topics to my interest/wishes. The dinner was done in their family home, and was a nice experience to see a Bulgarian family home aswell. I learned so much, and if I ever come back to Sofia I will do this again, because the host have so many more interesting stories to tell. I highly recommend this. PS. They also do Bulgarian yoghurt tasting, which was a very good experience…”
